Vicious Teams Finished 1st and 3rd at the Collegiate Championship

Vicious,
I was wanted to let you know that my partner Justin Rackley and I won the Boat US National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship on Lake Lewisville, TX this past week. We made the top five cut on day two with 20.22 lbs. The weights were zeroed for day three.
On the final day we came in with four bass weighing 7.60 lbs to beat Western Kentucky by almost a pound. Alabama finished in third, Wisconsin fourth, and Louisiana Tech fifth. We caught our fish on shaky heads, tubes, senkos, and jigs.
I was using 10 lb Vicious Copolymer on my shaky head rod and 15 lb Vicious Fluorocarbon on my senko rig. Justin was using 20 lb Fluorocarbon on his jig and tube rods.

First Annual “Fishing for Smiles” Team Tournament sponsored by Vicious Fishing has been CANCELLED
Vicious Fishing regrets to announce that the First Annual “Fishing for Smiles” Team Tournament sponsored by Vicious Fishing has been cancelled due to low water conditions on Lake Logan Martin. The staff at Vicious Fishing has been watching the water situation on the lake over the last month and when Alabama Power announced that the lake would experience another 1-2 feet drop over the next couple of weeks it was determined that for safety reasons the tournament should be cancelled.

an agreement with Fort Mill, SC, based SV3 Licensing
to manufacture promotional headwear, T-shirts, and
sweatshirts under the Vicious Fishing brand.

Vicious Fishing announced today that they have entered a partnership with Davis Bait Company as a new
licensee for a Russ Lane Signature series of Jigs, Spinnerbaits and Buzzbaits.

Stephen Browning testing out Fluorocarbon
 Slow rolling a spinnerbait in cold water is one of my favorite techniques. While using these technique a use a 7 ft medium heavy St. Croix rod, a 6.1:1 gear ratio reel and a fluorocarbon line in either 15 or 20 pound strength. The important thing to remember is that some bite are hard to detect. With the medium heavy rod and the fluorocarbon line the odds of detecting the strike is greater. I used Vicious Fluorocarbon for the first time and caught this 12lb 5oz giant in 14 feet of water while fishing in heavy standing timber. The fish got around plenty of junk and to my amazement the 15lb Vicious Fluorocarbon line showed very little abrasion. I didn't even retie. I wanted the line to prove to me it was worthy of being my choice. After two more 4lb class fish and still not retying, I gained a huge amount of confidence in the Vicious Brand. It will be what's on my reel. Promise!!
